Metrics Glossary

  • Total Sent: ThankViews sent from your portal
  • Opened: the number of recipients who opened their ThankView email
  • Clicked: the number of recipients who clicked to watch their video
  • Started Watching: the number of recipients who started watching the video on the landing page
  • Finished Watching: the number of recipients who finished watching 100% of the video
  • Total Views: the number of times a video has been viewed
  • Average View %: the average percentage of the video recipients viewed
  • CTA Clicks: the number of clicks that a CTA button has received
  • Shares: the number of times a ThankView was shared via the Share button 
  • Downloads: the number of times recipients downloaded their video
  • Replies: the number of replies that a campaign has received
  • PDF Unique Views: the number of recipients who loaded the PDF
  • PDF Average Completion %: the average number of pages of the PDF a recipient scrolled through

The Metrics Page

Location Metrics

You can view an Engagement Map to see where your recipients have opened their ThankViews. This is based on their IP address at the time of opening.

Below the map, you can see a list of where your Most Engaged Audience is from and sort that by state, city, or country.

Recipient Metrics

The Engagement Score Totals are calculated by a special algorithm that essentially measures how a recipient interacts with the ThankViews they receive from you.

Views by Device allow you to get a better sense of how your recipients are viewing their ThankViews.

If you've uploaded recipient birthday information, you can also see an Age Breakdown of your recipients. We've segmented them into different age ranges so you can see which age bracket seems to engage more with your ThankViews.

Multi-Portal Metrics

If you are a user in a Multi-Portal contract, you can interact with the metrics for each portal by clicking the dropdown on the left-hand side.

What is the difference between opens, clicks, CTA clicks, & views?

  • Opened means the recipient has opened the email. We count an email as opened if the recipient opened the email and the images load.
  • Clicked means the recipient has clicked the link in the email to the video landing page
  • CTA Clicked is the number of times a recipient clicked on the CTA button in your ThankView. 
  • Viewed counts the total number of times the recipient has watched the video.
