Sending Texts from a Custom Phone Number
Delivery via text with a custom phone number is available for Pro and Premium clients.
Why make the distinction between email and text campaigns?
- To provide more insight regarding the performance of email campaigns versus text message campaigns.
- A text message campaign will have text-specific previews.
How do I create a text message campaign?
When you first log into your account, you'll find yourself on the Home page. There are two ways you can initiate the creation of a campaign.
- Click Create New Campaign in the Your Recent Campaigns section.
- Click Campaigns in the navigation bar at the top of your screen, then click Create New Campaign.
Once you do this, you'll be prompted to choose a campaign type. Select your campaign type and name your campaign. Lastly, select your delivery method: text message.
All previews during setup will be specific to the text message delivery method
Cell Phone vs. Landline
If a ThankView is sent to a landline, the system may not immediately detect the difference. Ultimately, it will be marked "Undeliverable" in your reports.
A contact whose number is a landline or undeliverable for any other reason will be marked red.
