Editing Videos in ThankView
With our basic video editing capabilities, you can make minor adjustments to make your video the perfect fit for your campaign. You can edit videos either directly within your campaign or in the Video Library. Our editing tools allow you to:
- Change / delete video
- Change video thumbnail
- Add closed captions
- Trim video
- Rotate video
- Crop video horizontally
Changing the Thumbnail
- Click the Thumbnail icon at the bottom of the video.
- Select the video frame you'd like as your thumbnail.
- Thumbnail Tab: Click the purple arrows to scroll through the options.
- Film Tab: Use the slider below to select the video frame you'd like. You can use your keyboard arrows to get really precise.
- Upload Button: Click the Upload button at the bottom-right of the thumbnail pop-up to upload any image you would like to be used as a video thumbnail.
- This option provides you with an added layer of customization over what displays as your video's thumbnail. We recommend using it to tie additional branding into your message!
- Click Apply.
- The selected thumbnail will appear as the video's image in your Video Library, and as a preview of your campaign video and within your final email message (if the thumbnail format option is chosen when setting up your email campaign).
