What is the ideal file type for my video?

We accept .mov, .avi, and .mp4 video files. 

What is the maximum file size for my video?

The file size limit for uploaded videos is 2 GB. Videos recorded via webcam directly within the portal may not exceed 5 minutes in length. 

How long should my videos be?

Research suggests keeping your videos between 30-60 seconds in length. Of course, you know your content and context, so keep that in mind as well.

Can I bulk upload videos?

This feature is not available at this time.

What's the ideal aspect ratio? 

We recommend 960 x 720 (a ratio of 4:3).

What resolution do you recommend?

720p or higher is ideal. When recording at 720p in the ThankView platform, your video will have an aspect ration of 16:9, which means that you will need to crop your video to achieve an ideal 4:3 aspect ratio and fill the frame.
