Managing Your Campaigns Page

Your Campaigns page gives you a central location where you can view and manage your campaigns. By default, you’ll see your active campaigns, but you can use the filters at the top of the page to organize them by status (Active, Archived, or Deleted), or narrow down your view by type, delivery method, or specific user. Below, we’ll walk through how you can manage your campaigns, including renaming, copying, deleting, and more!

Renaming Campaigns

Editing the name of a campaign is quick and easy. To rename a campaign:

  1. In Campaigns, find your desired campaign and click the downward arrow on the right side of your campaign card.
  2. From this dropdown, the first option will say Rename Campaign, select this.
  3. Here you'll be prompted to edit the name of your campaign, press Update to save your new name.

Copying Campaigns

The ability to copy a campaign is super helpful if you plan to create templates or reuse any old campaign in some capacity. To copy a campaign:

  1. In Campaigns, find your desired campaign and click the downward arrow on the right side of your campaign card.
  2. From this dropdown, the second option will say Create a Copy, select this.
  3. Name your new copy - you will also have a checkbox that says Copy Recipients, deselect this if you wish to start from scratch with your recipients list.
  4. Choose whether the campaign will be an email or text campaign and press Copy Campaign.

Resending Campaigns

You have the ability to resend a campaign from your Campaigns page!

  1. In Campaigns, find your desired campaign and click the downward arrow on the right side of your campaign card.
  2. From this dropdown, the third option will say Resend Campaign, select this.
  3. From this page, you'll be able to write a new subject line that lets your recipient's know you're following up.
  4. Here, you'll also have an area where you can select which recipients will receive your resends using checkboxes. You'll see a dropdown next to the search bar that will show your different segments of your recipients based on engagement. These different segments are:
    1. Ready to resend: this is your default view and these recipients have not clicked on your campaign. You'll want to direct your resends to people from this segment.
    2. Sent within 24 hours: this group will not be able to receive resends until they're out of the 24-hour wait time between sends. We place this waiting cap to prevent ThankViews from getting marked as spam.
    3. Reached send limit: you will not be able to resend ThankViews to this group of recipients because they have reached the limit of 2 total sends (1 initial send, 1 resend). We do this to save your account health and prevent your sends from getting flagged as spam.
    4. Has clicked: these people have already received and engaged with their ThankViews! You will not be able to resend to recipients from this area.
  5. Once you have your recipients selected, click Send Now at the bottom of the page.

You also have the ability to resend a campaign directly from your Sends page.

Archiving Campaigns

Archiving can be helpful when you don't want to delete a campaign entirely, but you don't wish to see it in your immediate list of campaigns. To archive a campaign:

  1. In Campaigns, find your desired campaign and click the downward arrow on the right side of your campaign card.
  2. From this dropdown, the fourth option will say Archive Campaign, select this.
  3. Here you'll be prompted to confirm your action, click Continue and you're all set.

You can revisit your archived campaigns by using the first dropdown below your campaign search bar. Set it from Active to Archived to see all of your archived campaigns!

Note

  • Archiving a campaign with a send scheduled for the future will still send.
  • Archived campaigns are still included in your metrics.
  • To bulk archive, check the boxes next to the campaigns you wish to archive or delete, then follow the appropriate steps.

Deleting Campaigns

When your time with a campaign has run its course and you're looking to free up some space, deleting a campaign is an option. When you delete a campaign, it will be moved to the Deleted section of your page, where it will stay for 30 days until it's permanently deleted. To delete a campaign:

  1. In Campaigns, find your desired campaign and click the downward arrow on the right side of your campaign card.
  2. From this dropdown, the fifth option will say Delete Campaign, select this.
  3. Here you'll be prompted to confirm your action, click Continue and your campaign will be deleted.

To delete a campaign you've archived, you must first restore it from your archives and then delete it. Find your archived campaign, click the downward arrow on the right-hand side, then click Restore. You may now delete this campaign using the steps above.

Note

  • Deleted campaigns are not included in your metrics.
  • To bulk delete, check the boxes next to the campaigns you wish to archive or delete, then follow the appropriate steps.
