Beginner's Guide: ODDER Campaigns

ODDER stands for On-Demand Digital Endowment Reports and allows you to send static and dynamic PDF reports. ODDER is a separate product offering, so you will only have the ability to create an ODDER campaign if you have purchased the product separately.

Step 1. Create Your Campaign

When you first log into your account, you'll find yourself on the Home page. There are two ways you can initiate the creation of a campaign.

  • Click Create New Campaign in the Your Recent Campaigns section.
  • Click Campaigns in the navigation bar at the top of your screen, then click Create New Campaign.

Once you do this, you'll be prompted to choose a campaign type. Select Endowment Reports, and name your campaign. Lastly, select your delivery method: email or text message.

Step 2. DON'T Add Recipients

After creating your campaign, you'll initially be brought to the Recipients section. Please skip this step!

Step 3. Set Up Email Message

The Email Setup section allows you to select how your ODDER will appear in your recipients' inbox. You'll populate the following fields:

  • ODDER Appearance: the appearance of the ODDER in your recipients' inboxes
  • Subject Line: the subject line that recipients will see in their email inbox
  • Button Text: the call-to-action button in your email that will direct your recipients to the landing page
  • Button Color: the hex code you would like to appear on your button
  • Email Message: the message that will appear at the top of your email
  • Report Password (Optional): a password for your recipients' personalized reports
  • Sender Name: the name of the sender of this ODDER
  • Sender Email Address: the email address from which this ODDER will be sent
  • Reply To: the email address(es) that will receive any replies sent by recipients
  • Font: the font that will appear on the email and landing page of this campaign
  • Language: the language for the email and landing page of this campaign
  • Share Title: the title that will display if you allow your video to be shared on Facebook
  • Share Message: the message that will display if you allow your video to be shared on Facebook

You may click Preview Email to approve your setup.

Click Next Step to proceed once you have completed the email setup.

Step 4. Set Up Landing Page

The Page section allows you to customize the appearance of your landing page, envelope, and description.

Landing Page Appearance

If you have not already, click Create Landing Page to create your own branded landing page. If you have already done this, select one of your landing pages.

Choose an Envelope

If you have not already, click Create Envelope to create your own branded envelope. If you have already done this, select one of your envelopes.

Envelope Appearance

You may include text and a few merge fields for addressing your recipients on your envelopes, such as "Thank you, Bob!" or "You're invited, Sally!"

Additionally, you are now able to use custom merge fields and emojis in your Text before recipient’s name and Text after recipient's name fields. These options allow for further personalization and customization of your envelopes' appearance!

If using this feature, keep your middle Envelope Appearance field that provides set naming options empty by selecting the last dropdown option of [], and select the custom fields you would like to use from your Text before and Text after fields. Implementing this option is a great way to address joint households, other members of a family, organizations, or however you need based on the custom fields you've added to your portal.

Add a Description Below Your Video (Optional)

You may add up to 2500 characters below your video as a message. You may also include merge fields and emojis to personalize your message.

Report Tabs

While our ODDER Success Team will upload your Endowment Reports, you may click +Upload Optional Report to attach additional static reports. They must be in .pdf format, and if you have multiple, you will be able to drag-and-drop the reports to change their display order.  

Report Settings (Optional)

  • Enable Sharing: Allows your recipients to send their report(s) to others.
  • Enable Requests for Printed Reports: Allows your recipients to request a printed copy of their report(s).
  • Show Links to Previous Reports: If you used ODDER in previous years, you may display those reports in this current ODDER.

Add a Tracking Pixel (Optional)

Use tracking pixels to retarget viewers with online advertisements or to add them to Facebook custom audiences. To learn more, click here.

Click Next Step to proceed.

Step 5: Add Your Recipients

The ODDER Success Team will add your recipients and reports. Once they've done this, you may proceed to add your video(s).
