Utilizing Your Call-to-Action (CTA) Button

Including a call-to-action element is an excellent way to drive your recipients to complete some sort of task or action after watching your video. You can insert a link and create a call-to-action button that sits directly below your video on your Landing Page.

Adding a CTA Button

  1. In your campaign, go to the Page section.
  2. Scroll down to Add a Link, Display a PDF, Embed a Form (Optional).
  3. Select Add a Button.
  4. Enter your URL into the Link To: box.
  5. Enter what you would like the button to say in the Button Text box. This should be short, imperative, and actionable text.

CTA Button Use Cases

The possibilities are endless with what you can do with your CTA, it all depends on the purpose of your campaign. A few examples of actions you could encourage your constituents to take might include:

  • Support Again: link to an external giving page
  • Learn More: link to an article showcasing the impact of their donation
  • RSVP: link to an event signup page
  • Submit Now: link to submit an application or form with an upcoming deadline
  • Make a Contribution: link to a wishlist for items needed for drives, etc.
  • Become a Volunteer: link to a volunteer registration form
  • Sign Here: link to a participation waiver for an upcoming event or activity

Can I make the CTA button a reply to an email address?

One of the secondary action buttons is a Reply button that appears beneath the video and description box.

However, if you would like the primary call-to-action button to be a reply to an email address, enter "mailto:" before the email address (with no space) in the Link To: box.
